A.Piovan has designed an innovative doctor blade, supplied with its own sanfor blanket, to be used in place of the felt blade in the position of the external cooling water jet after sanforization. This blade, made of polyurethane, has be positioned in contact with the sanfor belt surface on the side of the lines with a light pressure.
The action on the rubber surface is softer and more uniform than felt and maintains its elasticity for a long time without marking the sleeve, it can also be used to dry the sleeve if necessary after the squeezing cylinders.
