Technical insight

In finishing padders, squeezing efficiency depends on the combination of hardness between the two paired rollers: a calibrated difference (for example, one harder roller and one slightly softer one) creates a barrier effect that extracts surface water at the entrance of the nip, while the pair of flexible rubbers penetrates the fabric structure to remove residual water, reducing the phenomenon of re-absorption at the exit.
